Task Force Southeast

Mission
Task Force Southeast trains, advises, and assists’ the 203rd Corps and the 303rd Police Zone Headquarters, during the 1396 campaign, (Operation KHALID) to enable ANDSF to retain key terrain, disrupt insurgent networks, generate sustainable combat power, and set conditions for future operations.

Area of Responsibility
Task Force Southeast includes the provinces of Paktia, Paktika, Logar, Wardak, Ghazni, Khost and Bamyan. Task Force Southeast shares a 570 kilometer border with Pakistan. Currently, there are approximately 300 Coalition Forces and 40,000 ANDSF operating in the area of responsibility.
